At the time they released this, I had two cars full of stuff that I was going to donate to them. I donated a bunch of stuff earlier in the year, twice. But no more, never again. I also decided that Goodwill also isn't worthy of my charity, partly because they are no longer a real charity (I recommend reading about that) after the snide way I was treated when I didn't want to wear a mask in one of their stores.

Fuck both of them. I'd sooner give my second-hand goods to the Mormons (Deseret). Unless it's a local, single store thrift store where the proceeds are actually used for local charity, it's probably not a real charity.

E: Crap, there's a typo, one of my most common ones. It should read "that there are racists". Serves me right for not proofing it before I posted.

You know that that isn't a very practical solution. If it's a variety of household items, including books, knick knacks, cooking ware, holiday decorations, etc., how am I going to find over two dozen people who MAY want some of this stuff? I don't do yard sales.

Look for nearby local places. There are a couple in my town that help retards and give directly to homeless or low income.

There are a lot that are purely profit. A lot of the parking lot drop box style places are profiteers that make people think they're giving to the community but it's just a second hand shop that hires a felon once a quarter or something.

That's what I was saying. I take a hammer and saw to just about everything unless a friend or close fam member need it. I usually ask. Otherwise, it gets the treatment. I've been serious about it for years. I cut all the wires in a kitchen stove I set out for pick-up. I beat the shit out of a dryer, too and made sure I broke the electronics inside. I've had a few people over the years stop at my bin and ask for it and I tell them no. Its my property until the county takes it. I made a decision long ago that humanity is fucked and I owe nobody nothing. This said, I help certain people if I see they genuinely need it. I'm a nice guy. I used to work for a few charities and I saw how they operate which is why I hate them now. There is a subset of people that exist solely because of these charities and will treat them like they are a business and they are the paying customers, demanding shit and getting angry. One of the charities I worked for refurbished old computers for people that can't afford them to 'bridge the digital divide'. If we hadn't bridged that divide niggers never would have been influenced by jews and gotten the swelled niggerheads they have believing that they are owed shit. They would also get pissed when we didn't have the model of thrown away computers they wanted to pick up.

This is now my current feeling on charity. It only works in a community or a society of homogeneity. Diversity destroys this because reasonable people want to donate only to their peers and neighbors, not some abstract "other". Unfortunately, as you correctly pointed out, this world now has been perverted, and greed and selfishness rule most people's values.

It's more helpful to think of everyone else, especially people who are not like me (i.e., White) as an enemy. There certainly isn't any reason I should give them assistance.

Oh, I forgot to mention: The times I donated to Salvation Army, I always asked for a receipt so I could use it as a charitable deduction. I don't itemize, but my brother does, so I grossly inflated the value of these "household items and goods, including cookware, books, small furniture and appliances, and electronics" so he could get some benefit from that.
