Go read the other articles posted here. TLDR police were "looking for Nathaniel", supposedly they got ambushed on Gareth's property while looking for Gareth's brother Nathaniel.
However, that story doesn't add up as they could have just called ahead, and if Nathaniel was really missing and in trouble as the police were saying, why did he fight the police?

My guess is they conducted an illegal raid, got killed, and rather than quitting while they were ahead, decided to wipe out the three of them. If this guess is true they are now in damage control mode, which explains all the articles over a rather small incident. It would also explain why we still don't have a video of the incident.
