There is a lot wrong with your post but this effort to disassociate Hernán Cortés from "the Catholics" is really bizarre. He was a devout Catholic that wrote to Charles V that if the “evil practices” of the Aztecs could be stopped then they would “worship the true God with… fervour, faith and diligence". The Spanish were religious fanatics. Unusually zealous even for Catholics.

Another problem here is that Cortés himself was a race-mixer. His boffing a local injun is even the basis of the meeting of civilizations which typifies the mestizo type which is really the official racial ideology of Mexico. He showed up with a few dudes and capitalized on injun resentment against the Aztecs. Couple that with military brilliance and lack of immunity to European diseases and he was able to win. But that he was willing to breed with them helped set the stage for the kind of alliance building that was necessary for undermanned Iberians to build their empires in Latin America. English set up true settlements. Iberians fucked the locals. Led by horny adventurers looking for gold like Cortés.

Yet you portray him as if he was some 'Aryan' superman merely responding to his Faustian urge to conquer. It was partially that. But winning over the Indians and converting them to Christ was necessary to even succeed at all. Converting locals to the conqueror's religion wins them over to the new order.

North of the Rio Grande we again had whole English families settling. Fewer injuns. And more European diseases. Unlike the casta system we also had true anti-miscegenation laws.
