Y'all ever eat kohlrabi?

It's fucking good. Looks like a radish fucked a turnip green, tastes like a cabbage fucked a potato. Highly recommend.

It looks like a pokemon. Tastes like cabbage and a radish combined, with a hint of broccoli. I like it, but I like cruciferous vegetables. They're anti-thyroid though.

cook it in cream with a little nutmeg and salt, then puree it.

eating it fresh is super crunchy, but sometimes causes bloating.

Looks like something I'd turn into sauerkraut. I dig kimchi too but that's my upbringing ha. Every culture has their own version of sauerkraut!

Yeah it definitely tastes like sweet cabbage. One of the local farmers was selling them at the market today so I said fuck it and got one.

Decent! What did you do with it? I've recently discovered leeks and been sautéing them with catfish and other vegetables. I'm a shitty chef but I'm trying. Always open to new stuff!

I tossed them in grape seed oil, vinegar, garlic, cumin, salt and pepper and then roasted them at 380° for about long enough. Served them on to of a fresh garden salad that had all the other stuff I got from the farmers market like a protein. Had pasta with ground beef on the side. I'm gonna shit like a king tomorrow.
