Some White dude hired me to do a dumbass retard job. He didn't have money and his dad paid for it, I felt bad and gave him a substantial discount. He's about 35 with no skills and a DUI and sits around playing everquest like a faggot. He's vaxed but knows about niggers and jews. I felt bad for him, so I helped him with a few personal things, told him to come over and did a free maintenance on his car and made him watch and do it with me so now he knows how. Set him up with a drain valve for his oil so he could do oil changes on his own without tools (top mount filter). Dumb faggot quit his job at grocery store and I found him another job but he's doing doordash because he "gets to be his own boss".

Some months passed since I met this dude and I don't want anything from him just trying to help out a White dude hoping he gets on his feet. This retard texts me that he undid everything I had set up on the job and now nothing works. That I should come fix it for free "considering my dad gave you a lot of money and your screwing me". And that I should fix his car too, for free: rear & front diff drain/fill service, fuel pump/filter, and who knows what the fuck else this dude did not follow any maintenance schedule.

What the fuck guys I tried to help did a nice thing and this is the fucking thanks I get.

I got military and law enforcement on my side. I like my chances. Plus I know gangsters too. I was just trying to do right

I used to tend bar in my dad's place. I would have friends come in with someone I did not know and they would assure me that it was a standup person, their friend, great guy... I would serve him and if he gave me a 5 I would give him change for a 10. If it was a ten, I would make chage for a twenty. The next round I would either short change him or give him more to see if he was honest. It was cheap to find out who was in your place, could I go to the rest room and leave him alone oin there? Was he going to be a problem drunk. Generally if they are dishonest they have all the character faults. Someone that can justify fucking over anyone will eventually justify fucking over friends and family.

Ok, going off your post, you can do repairs, vehicle maintenance, etc.

Now answer this - When you were learning how to do those things did you ever screw up and do something wrong?
If you did do something wrong, did you just give up and say that you're never doing it again?

There are vehicles out there that need more time, money, and effort to repair than what you're capable of putting into them.

Maybe you don't have the skills and knowledge, or the time and money, to fix that one vehicle or person.
But just because you can't restore a classic vehicle that's been sitting in a field for 50 years and is missing half its parts - That doesn't mean if another vehicle gets a flat tire you abandon it.

Keep helping White people. Some of them may need a complete rebuild and are beyond your skills and abilities. Others just need some simple maintenance.

You may have set yourself up for this to some extent with the initial “substantial discount” (even though the father could afford to pay full full price?). Your next step was to do maintenance work on his vehicle for free which also indicated that you were a push over.

If you want to be snarky send him an invoice on your company letterhead that says something along the lines of “hey friend, my accountant was closing out my books for the year and noticed that I had 10 hours of labor at your job site working on your car that I was not compensated for. Do you think it would be reasonable for you to compensate me for my time or should I have my accountant write this off as bad debt and take the appropriate actions?”

I give discounts all the time when I don't need to based on how people treat me or what situation they are in. For example if a client offers me a beer while I work they get a substantial discount. Or if they are old folks on fixed income I'll round down the hours. Maybe not the best choice from a spreadsheet's perspective but it feels like the right way to behave.

This dude was sitting in a bare apartment on a broken chair with an imposed budget, I worked things out in a way that all equipment and hourly was within that budget. It was like 500 bucks for the equipment and hours. I think I took off $200 or something. These aren't numbers that will change my life in any way but they are a huge impact for someone with no money.

The car stuff is a hobby I enjoy and I help all my friends with it as long as they pay for the parts. Bullshitting and fixing a car is better than sitting around smoking weed or drinking beer or shitposting.

I've run in to a handful over the last decade doing this. I've sued a few in small claims and took a loss on others. Used to get really worked up about it at first. I just try to let it go now.

I'm definitely doing things wrong I just have a soleprop and I've never paid the state for a license. My friend has the same business and he also never paid the state for a license, until he pissed someone off, and they reported him to the state.
