We used to be in the upscale vacation rental business. This past year was our last. We would drop 2-3 grand every year at BB&B. After the CEO's woke BS tirade about My Pillow we went elsewhere, and apparently many others did as well.

They pulled everything related to Trump’s family, not just the ex-crackhead; and more impactful to their business, the CEO was spouting off on his social media that conservatives were not welcome in his stores. He went full “Jan 6th was the day democracy almost died” batshit crazy. It’s all been scrubbed.
Pissing off half the country -especially the half that create income- isn’t good for the bottom line.
No one in my extended family has set foot in one since.
I hold a grudge a long, long time…

January 6th was during pandemic. They were closing stores before that. Cons generally can't cook other than bland, unseasoned cafeteria food, so I really doubt that had anything to do with it.

Thats been my experience. meat cooked to hell, boiled veggies, and not a spice in sight, because pepper is "too spicy." drown everything in ranch and cheese.

It's a funny meme, but the pillow and trump stuff was just in addition to other mistakes. Any one of them that knocked percentage points off of their revenues could be pointed at as the camel back breaker.
