Our founders enshrined it in the Bill of Rights as freedom of association. And I'm actually amazed that more constitutional cases haven't been brought against laws and other things which try to force different people with different beliefs together under the rationale that this is against the right of freedom to associate with the person you want to associate with.
Freedom of association is a real thing. It means you get to hang around the people you want to hang around with and only those people if you so choose. You cannot be forced to hang around people you don't want to hang around with them you can't be forced to do business with them you can't be forced to do anything with them it's in our f**** Bill of Rights.
I'm just absolutely astounded that more constitutional cases have not been brought on this basis. These people being forced to make cake for gay people but they don't want to make cakes for. It's a violation of their freedom to associate with the people they want to associate with and only the people they want to associate with. And the founding fathers didn't say oh but this doesn't count for business they didn't exclude Business from The Bill of Rights. You can do business with who you want to and with and you can't be forced to do business with people you don't want to do business with. This is all been settled back in the 1700s. F**** ridiculous
