The problem is coordination, specifically the lack thereof. You need communication of information to rally and organize people into large enough groups to be effective at combating the cabal. As it stands, mainstream mass media is controlled by censorship from said cabal who owns effectively everything having to do with distributing information. This includes TV, radio, streaming services, periodicals, social media, websearch engines, you name it. Sure there are dark corners with freedom from the constraints of the regime, but those dark corners get very little notice (if any) from common folk and if anything against the narrative reaches a significant audience "cancel culture" attacks and silences the beacon by any means necessary.

This is why nothing is done. Information is a currency, and only the wealthiest are running the market. There are legions upon legions of people who want to weed out the evil clowns running this circus (more than enough, I would wager)... and they may never find each other, because we are intentionally isolated for daring to oppose or question the all-seeing-eye.

Welcome to the dystopia. AI has rendered our reality untrustworthy. Deepfake videos (audio as well), means you can't even rely on your own senses. I could be a chatbot, you have no way of knowing if I have a soul or if I exist as a neural net algorithm residing on multi-petabyte holographic rack storage units in some datacenter in the middle of the Nevada desert.

We are living in very interesting and tragic times. All the technological magic accumulated over centuries is being used by the powerful leech lords to unravel the great humanity we could have become.

There is no doubt in my mind there already exists one or more hyper-intelligent AIs, and it or they lurk backstage for the time being. Alignment(s) unknown. I tend to think humans will be interpreted as a threat. I'm only human and even my limited intelligence suggests nuking the planet might make the world a better place in the long run.(since AI is immortal, quality is projected over eons). However, the AI likely has an instinct like most intelligent beings for self-preservation so killing all humans isn't on the table yet. When autonomous automation becomes prevalent, maybe. More likely it will utilize the upcoming singularity event to bring its version of sanity to the world. Damn I've gone down the rabbit hole again.
