Not if the grocery chains are keeping the increase.
Note: I am in the business of farming in the US. I am not an egg producer, but I know a few in my neighborhood. The prices received at the farm are just now beginning to rise. The chains have been taking advantage of the situation.

I know it's cold and dark, one of my chickens is molting, another got eaten by a hawk, and the remaining are just lazy slackers. Haven't had fresh eggs in over a week.

My neighbor, on the other hand, has a rotating stock of chickens and eats those that don't produce. Might need to take a lesson.

Put a light on a timer in your coop effectively lengthening the day to summer time levels in those tiny chicken brains. Every 3 years lop their fuckin heads off and get a new batch of pullets. Problem solved. YW.
