Rsv has been around longer than we've known it to exist. My boy got rsv a month ago from a "play date". Echinacea root tea, fluids, and rest is all he needed for a day or two.

Rsv is just like any other illness in my anecdotal experience.

Probably also has improved virulence due to all the mask wearing, and rebreathing all of the expelled viruses over time.

Masks are supposed to be disposed of after 20 minutes of use, but most people wear them for their entire 8 hour work/school day, and possibly reuse them multiple times. Constant wearing allows for everything in the warm moist environment time to multiply rapidly.

It spread very quickly late last year and hit a lot of people. I wouldn't be surprised if it was modified and they're testing another vector.

Don't know, but they're pushing hard on the infant risk lately... by "they" I mean tv ads and billboards that I've seen
