I don’t think having the ability to critically think constitutes being a hero.
Although standing up to tyranny and mass psychosis in the face of real and tangible consequences bears some recognition.

These people need real and tangible consequences comparable to those of us who fought against them - such as loss of assets, employability, family, health care access, social status, Etc…
I guarantee they aren’t truly sorry and would demand we obey again in a heartbeat if the rest of he herd is being subservient to popular opinion as well.
