I love how it's so easy to tell when you see good level of art. This is art, this is beauty, not some bullshit sculptures that costs millions and show us literally shit. I am into LOTR but even if I wasn't this kind of art on any other book, with any other picture with this quality would look good.

Yep. Nobody would give a crap about AI art if it was coming up with abstract shit. Art reached its peak in the Renaissance, then got worse and worse as low-talent artists were praised, starting with the impressionists. Then you got shit like Picasso, Andy Warhol, and now some rando fucktard painting a square and selling it for millions.

So I don't disagree with you, but I believe he had an editor at that point. Someone restricting the size of his book for marketability and because pages cost money.

The Diamond Age is good and could be a movie. I heard that Snow Crash was getting made, but no one has heard about it in a while , and it may be canceled.

By cryptonimicon it was clear that no one could tell him to stop writing. And it's hard to read. I never more than started it.

I got rid of the vast majority of mine. Simply too many of them were just filled with jewish propaganda. Once I figured it out and started re-reading them I started just dumping them into the donation pile one by one until there were only a few left.

I just came across my hard cover copy of the Hobbit. It's only about 360 pages, definitely not thick enough to paint.

I just grabbed a hard-copy book my friend lent me and opened to 360 pages. Yeah, it is thinner than I thought, but that allows for more content to be painted horizontally. I know you agree it could easily be done if you stare at the "canvas."

Dumb memories: I had played the computer Ultima series heavily and had memorized Richard Garriott's runes, which were pretty much Tolkien's runes, but time had elapsed and I semi-forgot them. In a D&D session, the referee gave us this cryptic paper filled with Tolkien runes that we needed to figure out during the adventure. I grabbed it and, while slowly remembering the runes, translated it right at the start, haha! The referee heavily rewarded me for my nerdgasm.
