The chan community has fractured to the point I can no longer keep track of it and the conspiracy realist in me is inclined to believe this was an intentional development perpetrated by glowies.
The power of 4chan was the 'crowd source' power of bringing an army of autists together on a single problem. Remember when we located the GPS coordinates of a ISIS training camp and got it destroyed? That was only possible because of a literal army of autistic nerds systematically grid searching satellite imagery for specific landmarks.
The more chans there are, the fewer users on any single site. The fewer users on a site, the less autistic power there is to do anything real. A critical mass cannot be achieved.
So are any of these chans worth checking out? None of the good stuff happens any more on any of the chans I used to visit
It was intentional. They fragment communities until there is no community. Same thing with Voat/Poal/Talk. Most of /pol/'s best left well before even 8chan was shoahed anyway.
We don't have to like one another, we are united by a common hate.
We come together because taking down the world government would be hilarious.
Imagine trolling the entirety of the world into chaos, causing everyone with power or influence on this planet to breakdown in a lulzy way.
It's be an epic win to destroy the order of humanity, and bringing about a global dark age where the very concept of society regressed back into the way it was in the ancient world of conquerors and kings.
We aren't getting any younger, we need a legacy, being the ones who brought fucking everything to its knees because it was funny would be a legacy that will never fade from Human memory.
We have very different goals. MY legacy is my bloodline which I have already ensured with many children. My goals for the future is not a new dark age but a better world for my descendants
