Because that's not the point. The entire fake meat, fake eggs, eat-the-bugs campaign has been a psyop. An experiment in social engineering. A huge socio-psychological stress test. Carried out by billionare sociopaths.
TPTB spent millions (what amounts to pocket change for them) on factories and personnel and media all for the express purpose of finding out just how far they could push the herd in a particular direction. It was never intended or expected to succeed in a business sense or turn a profit. It was meant to generate data. And in that sense, it has been a success.
In this case: 1) "Can we get them to eat fake food, even if they KNOW it's fake." and, 2) "How much stress can we put on the food supply before the peasants start getting restless."
From a command and control standpoint, it's all been a success, because it's generated real data. And that has been the point all along.
I guess just so you can financially support a communistic corporation who opposes our national constitution and our individual freedom. They went all in on marketing to far leftist extremists to the exclusion of everyone else, so they should have expected this outcome.
I am concerned for you and your everlasting soul. I don't think a whopper that tastes decent has even existed post 70s, if it even really did back then...

That's just like your opinion man. If I am being 100% honest though. I might eat a burger like once or twice a year. I ate a Wendy's pretzel pub burger a few days ago tho. It was good. In the last 20 years I might have eaten like 2 whoppers. But when I was young in my first apartment. We lived right next door to a burger King. We ate there all the damn time. Currently burger King is the furthest fast food restaurant from my house. I went there the same day I got Wendy's. And waited for 10 Mins at the menu board. Got mad and left and went to Wendy's next door. My wife claims meat makes her sick now. So I wanted to see if an impossible burger did. Anyway just got a burger from Wendy's. First one in 6 months. And got her a baked potato. That Wendy's burger was good. But it was like 10 dollars.
Every time I have given burger king a chance over the past 3 decades has been varying degrees of intense disappointment. Wendy's tends to be pretty good, but only in really niggery parts of town where I tend not to want to spend significant amounts of time. Burger kings tend to be in even worse areas... so maybe it's a regional thing or something.
Honestly if I want a burger. Which is rare. I get McDonald's. But over the past decade. Some good burgers. Wendy's. Shake shack. In n out. I would say what a burger. But I always get their bbq chicken burger. Restaurant burgers. Haven't ate one in like 15 years.
I was almost vaguely interested in maybe trying it once and then fortunately both of these companies came out not only against the second amendment but also in support of blm. Not buying now ever at all even once, sorry losers. And I'm glad for that, because it would have been idiotic of me to feed this poison to my family.
We had a freeze here in Texas and ofc all the idiots assaulted the supermarket like the world was about to end. The meat section. Absolutely nothing but impossible meat. I bought sandwich meat instead.
The Seven Day Adventist demons have been pushing the vegan cult for decades and anyone who has seen an emaciated meatless Adventist knows that being a vegie freak is unhealthy.
Pfft. This is just copium from OP. They are now going to start replacing real cuts of meat with this fake shit. They just want to ease the minds of simple minded folk who dont see outside of the box before ramping up the vegan agenda.
They already had us eating fake meat and bugs before any fake meat companies were created anyway. Ever heard of meat glue? Crushed up bugs have been a staple in soy slop, lollies, chocolate for well over my lifetime too.
