F-16 unit cost is around 18-20 million.

The F-22 was calculated at about $360m per operational aircraft (calculated from total program cost) when production wound down, with incremental costs being around $138m.

The incremental would be the cost of materials/time to produce one. The $360m comes from taking the entire program cost and dividing it by the number of aircraft delivered.

Low-Rate Initial Production for the F-35A was $79.2m each. The entire project is also behind schedule, and over-budget, including an 18-month, $6.2bn delay caused by having to reduce the weight of the F-35B (the STOVL variant) by some 2,200lbs due to increases in weapon-carrying requirements making it overweight.

The F35 program is a failure.

But they can improve the over all outcome by ditching the F35 b.

That platform was the primary cause of the cost runs and loss of performance. Too much jack of all trades and compromises.
