I know you guys don’t speak welsh. But imo the welsh produce some of the best folk songs in the world. They are great singers and their language has a beautiful ethereal quality.

This song came out amidst the background of the Welsh coal miner strikes of the 1980s. The song touches on several important events in Welsh history from the Roman period to to the saxon invasions and Margret Thatcher’s crackdowns on the miners.
