The free market did not produce the monopolies we see today.

You ignore all the things that created the corporations.

Corporate personhood is the first, it violates the capitalist principle of personal responsibility by giving people a sheild by which they can aboid legal culpability for their actions. It gives corporate heads free license to act like a psychopath in the way they run their companies.

General Motors vs Ford was a landmark case in corporate law that is responsible for forcing companies to behave psychopathic, they are obligated by law to act in the best immediate financial interests of their shareholders. That's why they can't help but submit to the pressures of optimizing their ESG scores.

Then there is the fact that there is no separation of state and market, far frommliving in a laziez-faire free market, government interference with the economy is the norm, not the exception, we have licensing, regulations, subsidization, etc. almost all of it is being dictated by lobbyists who take advantage of the government having the legislative power to influence the market.

This means that small businesses are not able to compete with the established corporate powers.

The system is rigged to be the way that it is. This is not the product of decentralized bottom up emergence, but top down central planning.

Of course, it's the international bankers who are truly in charge of it all.

Agree with this assessment 100%

I have a couple solutions

1. Get rid of corporations being a person this is fucking retarded beyond belief.

2. Get rid of cross state franchises

3. I would cap a corporation what ever the new more legitimate definition is to X percentage of the gdp... I am not a commie but instead of having 12 people in the Walmart family have 20 billion I'd rather have 2000 billionairs each owning a Walmart with some central system they all chip into to keep their buying power and logistics running smooth

That's as far as I got true capitalism with some realistic caps people can still make shit loads generational wealth but I can do with out the Zuckerbergs and Elon musk of the world being trillionairs

There is some quote from the old robber barrons about they want anything but competition.. aka free markets.

My new, new as in 14 years now, mailman sucks fucking balls. His temp replacements, because his job is so hard so he needs extra days off, suck fucking balls too.

My mail is late.......misplaced, unable to send anything because he's too fucking stupid so I have to actually go to the post office, and damaged.

I'm forced to pay for this shitty "service". Beyond that the post office refuses to stop junk mail. The reason is that they get paid to deliver it. My box is full of flyers, donation begging and community normie news.

If it were a free market how long do you think this "service" would last? yeah, exactly.

De-register with them. There is a solution to these problems, it's just not quite as convenient as maybe you would like. There is more to this, this exact issue; You might be surprised, looking into it.
