The problem with using catbox for an archive is that it is time limited, and this one has gone buh-by due to old age.

6 months ago I would've said, "hey, maybe if you paid for it then you'd have some ground to stand on" but after that last e-beg I know I and probably more than a few others jumped in and sent or committed money toward the site. Rightfully so, we've been using it for years.....mostly you guys but I get to enjoy the posts so what's $30 a month? Nothing really.

Lotsa promises and 5 months later no real improvement. Continued outages, problems and issues. I'm all about catbox but in reality I think that catbox doesn't want anything to do with us. He/she/it/they just want to anime their little hearts out and have nothing to do with eebul natzees.

In catbox's defense it is just a part time hobby for them and while it has basic bitch options, when it works, it works fine.

I have the occasional upload issue, but never the litany of problems most people talk about. I really think half of the problems are DNS blocks at the ISP level, and if people just switched to another DNS provider, the problems would go away.

You're probably somewhat right. I don't upload much but it's never been a problem. Connecting on the other hand.....well I keep this page https://status.catbox.moe/ bookmarked. I've also found that it's not necessarily accurate where catbox went down but the status page didn't show it yet.
