On March 6, Santacroce allegedly approached the bank tellers at a Wells Fargo, located at 299 S Main St., and presented a note stating, “Please pardon me for doing this but this is a robbery. Please give me $1.00. Thank you.
Santacroce allegedly gave officers the $1 he stole from the bank, admitting to the crime and stating that he did so “because he wanted to get arrested and go to federal prison,” the affidavit states.

Robs bank of $1, tells "hostages" he doesn't have a gun and will keep bank robbing until he ends up in federal prison.

You're right. He'd be better of "embezzling" money than committing a robbery. That would almost guarantee he'd go to white collar prison which looks more like a summer camp than a prison. With robbery the judge has lot more discretion on where to send him.

At white collar prisons, you get to date, which usually gets you a few salad tossings before you get fucked. Federal prison begins with an unrequested and I’ll prepared fisting. Usually before a cheering nigger audience.

Not a bad idea. But I would put as much money into crypto as possible before robbing a bank so I would have a decent amount of money for retirement after getting released.
