Tune o' Matic - your bridge. Yours is certainly a knockoff, but that's fine. They perform a pretty simple task.

Yeah the bridge is interesting, it is adjustable saddles but I need to remove the bridge pick up if I ever needed to make adjustments to it

You can get a bent screwdriver meant to adjust 'em. If you have a long and skinny screwdriver, you can just adjust 'em - there's enough room to get a bite on the screws. They're usually just hex or slotted screws, sometimes Phillips.

You can lift 'em a little if you have to. Just loosen the string and pop it to one side. That's pretty easy to do.

Hello and welcome to a new FNGT! While we've held the FNGT here on Talk.lol in the past, I'm going to count this as our inaugural Talk.lol guitar thread.

Why? Because we've decided (with some prompting) to move the FNGT from Poal to Talk.lol. It'd be pretty hard to post where I'm effectively banned - and the guitar sub was disabled. I don't know, I haven't bothered checking in over there. If they gotta make shit up to ban me, so be it...

So, I have a pretty appropriate song for this. It's not technically new, but you may have heard it once and only once. It's not even on my sharing site, though I suppose I could change that. Anyhow, this one took a bunch of work and it seems appropriate to me.

I dunno if it's something on my end or some setting in the sub but this thread isn't showing up on all and when I followed the link from sleazy's post I kept getting logged out for some reason. Not sure if I'm the only one it's happening to.

The only one with any power that I know of would be @lord_nougat (I think I spelled that properly).

I don't imagine he'd hide the thread from 'all' intentionally - but that happened the first time we had the thread here and not the second time we had the thread here. Also, my 'banned from Poal' thread was on 'all' for quite a while.

Thanks! Glad ya liked it. That track was shared once before - but only once. For a track that good (I'm biased!) it really should have been shared again.

And, I haven't got a clue what's wrong with the site and linking the guitar sub to all. This is the 2nd time that has happened, once when we first had the guitar thread here when Poal was down. Last week we had the thread over here and it showed up just fine.

Hopefully, someone'll get it sorted and we'll get shit squared away.

Man, it'd suck to have to move the guitar thread yet again.

Me either. Only way I could get here was to go to the guitar sub directly and then everything worked normally. Maybe because I wasn't subbed to it? so slow I'm only subbed to two subs and tend to just cruise through the new and bump sortings.

It was a sticky post when I removed the sticky from last week's thread posted by @sleazy. I'm not sure how quickly he set the sticky bit.

Same. Clicking the link logs you out. Have seen this before, but no idea why it happens with particular posts. Manually typing in the sub name and clicking the post works from a logged in tab.

Yeah. I think it was because it was stickied. Probably something in the code to prevent v/all from filling up with nothing but stickied post from every sub. I haven't tried making a link to a non-stickied post to see if same thing happens but regular posts show up fine so I expect the links would work as well.

That's the goal! That one was rather complicated, as you can tell by the naming. They used a lot of effects and some overdubbing for the studio version.

Yeah, that was one of our more complicated pieces. Glad ya liked it, though I'm not sure how it only ended up getting shared once before. But, that's what happened.
