I used to work at a dairy farm about this size.

It is impossible for an explosion of this magnitude to happen naturally.

Furthermore the cows get milked by groups or buildings. We had 6 or 7 separate buildings that would each individually get led into the parlor to be milked, then walked back to their building.

Also, every parlor has a mist system that sprays water mist over the cows to calm and cool them before the milking. Impossible for something to ignite when its basically got a fire sprinkler on at all times.

I created an account just to tell you fucks what I know.

This explosion is impossible, and if an explosion would happen on a dairy farm it wouldn't kill every single cow. Maybe a couple thousand tops.

How the fuck does a farm have anything so explosive as to kill an army of cows just laying around? Methane gas built up in their shed? How the fuck have we never heard of this being a thing before now. There would be an air handling system to safeguard against it, with alarms if the gas was in dangerous concentrations. How the fuck do you get 18000 cows in one barn.

Ammonium nitrate? It's a high explosive on its own-ish. Just needs to be sensitized. That's basically what tannerite is.

But I think they would be importing their feed. The ammonium nitrate would be used as a fertilizer if they were growing feed there?

Methane, the place looks like a metal roofed long house in the drone footage I watched there wasn't much ventilation. Maybe a lightning strike hit the metal roof and ignited the cow farts, in an enclosed space even a small explosion can kill just by barotrauma.

That said it seems more likely somebody lit those farts on fire. I'm basing my guesses on the drone footage likely being filmed after the explosion.

It's like firing an rpg from an enclosed position out a window, the back blast and the pressure will kill the operator and everyone in that room with pressure alone.

That is huge. See all those fans on the side wall though? Despite the size those should've provided enough air flow to prevent a methane build-up.

Alternatively, maybe they had a power failure? That would tend to allow it, but the build-up of heat and gasses (including methane) would tend to kill the cows, so you'd think they would have a procedure for getting them out... But that's a lot of cows to have to get out.

Also, judging by the image it wasn't an energetic explosion, didn't even cause the roof to collapse. I'd guess it went "whoof", setting small fires all over, and starving the place of oxygen which would've caused the deaths.

We say the explosion can only have been sabotage .. grain silos sometimes blow up, not withstanding the rash of US silo explosions that occurred in the 1970's were no less suspicious, read on..
