Hello and thanks for @sleazy's opening the thread. I suppose it was technically his turn, as I think I got the last two and he got the one before that.

Is it me, or are the weeks flying by faster and faster? Every time I turn around, it's time for the Friday Night Guitar Thread! (That's not really a bad thing.) As such, we don't always have something new. Instead, we have something that we recorded especially for COF. I don't know if it was ever shared with the group as a whole, because this one originally a private track - just made for him. I think he may have finally suggested we share it, or shared it himself, but I don't recall any specifics.

Either way, y'all likely haven't heard this - and you don't even wanna know the work that went into it. We had to scrape the audience noises out of the original and then manage to match the band exactly to fit in around the snipped audio. It was not an easy task, but Biff managed.

Thanks! We had no choice but to. We didn't have a screaming audience so we had to snip that from the original and then match everything - including exactly the right tempo.

It was a bitch, but COF sure could complain until he got what he wanted from us. LOL

That's not a song we'd have chosen to do ourselves. It's a great song, don't get me wrong. It's just not one we'd have done without a whole lot of asking.

Glad ya liked it. Had you heard this version before? I'm not sure if it has been shared much/at all, outside of sharing it with COF.

(We have a few other tracks that were for COF-only, actually. But, he's no longer with us, so we can share 'em with the group if we want.)

They kept playing this song at McDonalds and I paid it never no mind. Then I noticed it one day and thought, "that's a great song." It's a loop of chords of Cannon by Pachelbel. I love what Maroon 5 did with it. That singer delivers an incredible performance.

I got it after one of the guitar threads that was visited by Putt.

I think it was right after the Great Voat Outage, when we had the thread over on the beta/testing server instead. I think it was not too terribly long after that.
