Is this saying 2% of samples detected human DNA, or 2% of the samples were human DNA. Like how much human meat are we talking here? More importantly, why the fuck don't they specify which brands had human in them? You would think it would be something people should know.

It has to be a lie. 2% would mean hundreds of human bodies going through meat grinders. Are hot dogs Soylent Green? GTFOH. However, the 2% could include things like dander and hair, which makes it slightly more believable (and gross).

It's 2% contained trace amounts of human dna. So like if a skin flake comes off of an inspector 1/50 times someone looks over a vat of raw meat being processed.

I'm starting to think this kind of dna testing is bullshit because I heard even nice sushi restaurants were sometimes using fresh water fish according to dna, and that the restaurants likely didn't know because of upstream mishandling. But that's bullshit. If you cut up fish every day you know what kind of fish you are handling.
