even if i wanted to leave my house, there is nothing to do outside, and trying to get people together to do something is like pulling teeth. everyone just wants to sit at home. and i bet if i were to go down the street to the bar, the people in the bar would be effectively homeless people who go there at night instead of crashing in the garage or under the gazebo in the park or sleeping in their car. and i don't want anything to do with the degenerate thieving addicts.
the i know this is happening nation wide too because i heard it from webcast from place no where near me.
assuming people are broke, i can't even get people to do a COOKOUT in the PARK! or a board game night (with games we already own), my friend has had kayaks statcked up in a trailer in his backyard READY TO GO for 2 years and guess how many times we've been kayaking....3 times.... we could have went twice a week for 4-5 month.
anyone else care to share the life experiences on this?
I walked a five mile trail yesterday. Barefoot in nature with my wife, on a small dose of mushrooms. Today I'm strapping the canoe to the top of my truck and going out on a canoe run where I'll pass no less than eight springs.
I've been working like a bastard the past six months, picking up every shift available, working overtime. Something in brain broke, and I cut my hours. Fuckers at work were relying on me, now they're getting told to go bag their ass. I feel great, alive. I have less money, but I don't give a fuck because basic needs are met. I'd rather spend my time working on the house, or being in nature than dealing with petty, passive aggressive, tyrants.
That all sounds great, but...barefoot in Florida? When I take out the trash, my bare feet get assaulted by biting ants. I sure as hell ain't goin hiking barefoot..
You tend to watch where you step a little more when you're barefoot. I find it to be more immersive. On top of that, it feels great walking over a patch of pine needles. Sweetgum spurs, not so much.
Try walking around the park showing random women your dick. Don't be discouraged by negative reactions. It's a pure numbers game. Show enough women your dick and sooner or later one will stick around to admire it.
- get an old car you'd want to restore - start a garden or farm - get a bike and find local trails
I had to go riding in 2020 to keep my mental health right. Pedaling in sunshine does wonders. It also helps I really have one friend...I'm used to most people acting like flakes.
Meetup.com and (yes, I know) Fagbook events pages have stuff. Most of it is online/bars but there's a selection of other things to attend for free that might help you meet up with other folks looking to get outside.
