Hm. This animation shows must be dark out to see full moon but I've seen it during day before, have I not?

You have not. Not a full moon.

The center of the bright side of the Moon always points towards the Sun, therefore you can only ever see a full moon at night.

You can sometimes see something close to a full moon during the first or last moments of the day, with the Moon rising opposite to where the Sun is setting, or vice versa. If seen at sunrise, it will be a slightly waning moon, setting in the West. If seen at sunset, it will be a not quite fully waxed moon, rising in the East. This works best if you are at a high elevation, with surrounding terrain being at relatively lower elevations. But nowhere on Earth can you see a true full moon until well after the Sun is far below the horizon.

In the OP video, you can pause at 0:02 and imagine you are standing on the topmost part of the Earth for the morning scenario, and pause at 0:42 and imagine you are standing on the bottom-most part of the Earth for the evening scenario.

Second question

I have on video a situation where the bright side of the moon is not oriented in a way where it faces the sun in daylight.

It looked something like this

O

_____ (

Instead of, as you would expect to see, and as we usually see:

O _____(

(Ignoring underscores)

Thoughts on this phenomenon?

As you can see, the light forming a C shape, in my situation, doesn't face the sun directly.

This is called the Lunar Terminator Illusion or Moon Terminator Illusion.

Not to be confused with simply Moon Illusion which refers to the Moon appearing larger when near the horizon.

Both are optical illusions, caused by a lack of sufficient visual cues for our brains to correctly adjust for the geometry involved, and collapse when actually measured.

Brief video of the terminator illusion collapsing: https://y.com.sb/watch?v=fVPIcjv1H00

You can see for yourself, by simply holding any kind of ball up against the Moon in that kind of situation, and observing that the ball is illuminated by the Sun at exactly the same angle as the Moon. If the light on your ball is oriented straight towards the Sun, then so is the light on the Moon.

Well done.

That question has been nagging me for over 7 years.

If you pay attention you'll notice the earth model is spinning while the moon model is not. Either both spin or neither spin, so this video is an obvious fake! Round Earthers BTFO!

Please watch again, as you can see that the moon is rotating in relation to the earth.

I can see the wire from which the moon is suspended! The Round Earther forgot to edit it out in post production! Hahahaha

Does this mean you still don't comprehend it?

The moon is a NASA hologram. The real one is made out of cheese.
