Mine is western Sydney notoriously known for the most desirable voter base.
Politicians of the past have probably out of reluctance visited for "town halls" only to hear everything they are protected from hearing in their own bubble.

I've been at a range where I saw (2)X-Army fella's do the exact thing you posted about,they both laughed at each other an then explained to me what was so funny.I'm retired USNavy an frequent my local gun range 3X a month.

By the time its chambered and ready to make contact with a firing pin its got nothing to do with the magazine.

It's so it feeds into the chamber properly. Though you can also just press on the top bullet to push it back as well.
