Octopussies are fairly intelligent. She probably survived because she was handling the creature carefully and respectfully. I believe a dumb thot would have self-patrolled in this circumstance by bouncing it on her tits or miming a blowjob.

Yeah, the octopus didn't seem to think it was being threatened. Most octopuses are very mellow in personalities. You get to see their dangerous side when they are hunting prey.

[ - ] Prairie 3 points 2.0 yearsMay 23, 2023 18:32:42 ago (+3/-0)

She'll kill more relationships than that critter ever could.

[ - ] Master_Foo 3 points 2.0 yearsMay 23, 2023 17:13:31 ago (+4/-1)

Now, Ima guy who likes his "animal facts".
I didn't know octopuses were poisonous.
I probably would have fucked around and found out too.

Look up Box Jellyfish.

[ - ] Jinglebanger 1 point 1.9 yearsMay 24, 2023 10:34:50 ago (+1/-0)

Venomous. Poisonous is a relative term that describes the potency and effect of the venom.

For example, bees have venom, but you would not consider them to be poisonous. Or, spiders have venom, but only black widows, etc are poisonous.

My rule is never touch anything you see on the beach.

[ - ] Clubberlang 1 point 2.0 yearsMay 23, 2023 20:15:16 ago (+1/-0)

I heard most guys near you do the same.

[ - ] PhimoticEmbrace 0 points 2.0 yearsMay 23, 2023 21:39:47 ago (+0/-0)

Did you move to Australia from the US or UK?

[ - ] dulcima 1 point 2.0 yearsMay 23, 2023 22:49:07 ago (+1/-0)

Estonia.

[ - ] UncleDoug [op] 0 points 2.0 yearsMay 23, 2023 23:12:44 ago (+0/-0)

I encourage all shit skins to fuck around in rock pools at the beach. There is a veritable cornucopia of animals that can instantly kill you before Bondi rescue can drag your lifeless body back into camera focus.

[ - ] ilikeskittles 2 points 2.0 yearsMay 23, 2023 17:08:11 ago (+2/-0)

Just don’t go in the water. Everything can kill you.

[ - ] bonghits4jeebus 2 points 2.0 yearsMay 23, 2023 15:32:28 ago (+2/-0)

No, that thing looks perfectly friendly.

[ - ] calx 4 points 2.0 yearsMay 23, 2023 18:12:57 ago (+4/-0)

Beware of bright colors in nature! (Such as people with blue hair.)

[ - ] NeonGreen 1 point 2.0 yearsMay 23, 2023 19:03:38 ago (+1/-0)

My wife just showed me this bright pink millipede that is a footlong and shoots cyanide out of its mouth. We didn't talk for a couple hours after that.

[ - ] Clubberlang 3 points 2.0 yearsMay 23, 2023 20:14:14 ago (+3/-0)

Congrats you finally had sex!

[ - ] SecretHitler 2 points 2.0 yearsMay 23, 2023 19:52:51 ago (+2/-0)

I'm not talking to you based on warning signs in your username.

We have fish here that sit on the bottom of the beach sand and look like rocks (not sort of like rock, exactly like a rock), completely innocuous and even friendly. If you touch it you are dead in minutes.

The rule on an Australian beach is that everything can fuck you up in seconds for no reason at all.

[ - ] bonghits4jeebus 2 points 2.0 yearsMay 23, 2023 23:57:26 ago (+2/-0)

Everything in Australia wants to kill you, but especially the bright colored ones. I don't even like touching fish.

Last summer I got stung by a jellyfish, and it was red for 2 weeks.

[ - ] MuricaPersonified 0 points 1.9 yearsMay 24, 2023 11:28:35 ago (+0/-0)

The few things that are not trying to kill you Aussies, want to weird you out. You guys have these 1+m long, giant blue earthworms, that you can hear squelching around deep underground. Heard they're rare, but that's still really fucking gross.

[ - ] bonghits4jeebus 0 points 1.9 yearsMay 24, 2023 22:02:44 ago (+0/-0)

Oh I'm not australian. I got stung by a jellyfish in Florida.

[ - ] HeyJames 2 points 2.0 yearsMay 23, 2023 13:37:20 ago (+5/-3)

Considering she has a painting of literally the exact octopus behind her I'm calling bullshit on this entire story of her "not knowing". My guess is she did this intentionally to go viral and get sponsor money. Everything on chink-tok is fake and gay.

[ - ] observation1 13 points 2.0 yearsMay 23, 2023 14:00:34 ago (+13/-0)

You are a negative creative storyteller.

The way I see it. Since she had a brush with death, she handled it by having art made. The interview was longer and they probably even asked her about it but it got cut.

This is a common theme amongst surfers ornocean swimmers who've swam with dolphins or sharks - will get a tattoo of the experience.

[ - ] HeyJames 0 points 2.0 yearsMay 23, 2023 14:52:32 ago (+0/-0)

That's one way to look at it but everyone is trying to make a buck off of social media these days so I'm going to remain skeptical

[ - ] observation1 0 points 1.9 yearsMay 24, 2023 04:28:27 ago (+0/-0)

Fair

[ - ] bonghits4jeebus -2 points 2.0 yearsMay 23, 2023 15:32:41 ago (+0/-2)

Tru

She also looks kind of dressed up for the video, though I can't tell why. Anyways, the thing was completely staged.

[ - ] RedBarchetta 1 point 2.0 yearsMay 23, 2023 23:59:41 ago (+1/-0)

NOTHING was learned.

[ - ] Clubberlang 1 point 2.0 yearsMay 23, 2023 20:12:35 ago (+1/-0)

AND JUST LIKE THAT

Scientists baffled by sudden deaths due to handling of blue ringed octopus.

[ - ] RMGoetbbels 0 points 1.9 yearsMay 24, 2023 04:20:23 ago (+0/-0)

Obviously you shouldn't be afraid of everything in life but at the same time doing shit just to get likes on facefuck is the ultimate stupid and this is where we are at in today's society.

[ - ] UncleDoug [op] 0 points 1.9 yearsMay 24, 2023 05:26:40 ago (+0/-0)

No one is going around afraid of everything in life, you just need to understand what is and isn't dangerous.

[ - ] RMGoetbbels 0 points 1.9 yearsMay 24, 2023 18:29:50 ago (+0/-0)

Nigger.

[ - ] dulcima 2 points 2.0 yearsMay 23, 2023 20:02:57 ago (+2/-0)

I have to say though no Australian woman would have touched it. We have those things here and yes, they're deadly.

[ - ] Clubberlang 0 points 2.0 yearsMay 23, 2023 20:16:26 ago (+0/-0)

Isn't running down the beach popping blue bottles a past time for kids every summer?

[ - ] dulcima 1 point 2.0 yearsMay 23, 2023 20:27:15 ago (+1/-0)

[ - ] Clubberlang -1 points 2.0 yearsMay 23, 2023 21:04:10 ago (+0/-1)

TIL an 18 year old is a boy in Australia and not an adult.

95% vaccinated this result makes sense.

[ - ] UncleDoug [op] 0 points 2.0 yearsMay 23, 2023 23:10:39 ago (+0/-0)

REPEAL THE 19th!

I'm glad you're on board.

[ - ] Peleg -2 points 2.0 yearsMay 23, 2023 14:00:19 ago (+0/-2)

I'm going to agree with @HeyJames on this one. Fake. Like everything on tik-wok, "made" for your viewing pleasure.

[ - ] observation1 5 points 2.0 yearsMay 23, 2023 14:03:16 ago (+5/-0)

Fake as in she knowingly picked up an octopus that would kill her? Sure pal.

[ - ] HeyJames 1 point 2.0 yearsMay 23, 2023 14:52:54 ago (+2/-1)

Fuckers eat tide pods for attention
