He only thought about how to steal more money for himself, which led to a fight within the ruling elite, which led to Euromaidan, pogroms on Russians, Crimea, and then, for 8 years, Russia stood around with its finger up its nose. Worse, Russia did nothing to help Donbass economically. Kurchenko, the thief, was sent in to continue robbing Donbass.
