We’re in the middle of a complete kitchen remodel and everything is going fine except that I questioned a choice I had made with my wife regarding the placement of the second sink. The countertops are in on the new cabinets and I’m thinking the food prep sink maybe should have been moved over to the right another 24 inches, leaving more room for food prep on the left side. The cabinets are custom built locally. The slabs are Cambria, the best you can get in quartz, and the tab for the pulls and knobs was $1200. I am figuring out how I’m gonna work within the configuration, that at this point would probably cost 20k to remediate.

After a few back and forths about figuring what will go where in the space provided, I came to the conclusion it will suffice. Had I had more forethought, and we did have a set of plans, I would have done the second sink differently. After all of this convo, we both laughed that our twin sink issue in our kitchen that is costing more than my first house, with Italian tile and appliances and tile work, is a “Upper middle class White people problem”
