Stores now keep recordings for months, if not years. Even a burner phone paid for in cash will have a visual record of a the purchase. Same with a sim card.

The digital tracking of anything related to telephony is almost 100% covered, and I doubt these trannies are in that <1% that have the technology to get around the tracing.
