When I was very young (single digit young) my older brother gave me an old motorcycle helmet. I wore it constantly. My Father made a joke about wearing it when I was in the car with my mother because women drivers are dangerous, so I did. For several years. She fuckin' hated that. It would make her so mad she wouldn't let me go with her sometimes. In retrospect I must have looked retarded and embarrassed the fuck out of her, but my Father would laugh his ass off and come out of the house just to watch us drive away.
