I saw your edit, and I'm proud you did the right thing. It's good the man wasn't involved in the crash, and that he got to recover some of his property after a theft. Had about 2300 in tools stolen a few months ago. Some of it was specialty stuff specific to my trade. Luckily homeowner insurance covers it. Tool thiefs get the fucking rope. You need to return those to whoever they belong to.
