Moloch is a deity with a bulls head with a human male body. He is a deity of child sacrifice and parents tears. He demands tribute through fire.

He did lead a troupe of rebel angels against the rest of the pantheon, yet was unsuccessful.

There are many connections to be made between Moloch and Satan, but nothing that I've found directly connects the two.

To me it's still the same though, the acts required to worship either are wholly evil. The followers of such a deity deserve to meet him swiftly.
