This car is from the 1960's I would guess. While living in London, I owned a 1965 Triumph and it too had a flat wooden dash like this. And SAAB stopped making cars in 2011. I remember the huge lot full of unsellable cars in Houston when Saab auto division folded.

A friend had one of these. First time I've thought about it in decades.
I don't recall being impressed.

There was one of those for sale recently on CL in my neck of the woods. It was gone in a flash. A 1972 I think. I remember seeing these as a kid.
