As a result they survived when millions and millions of Europeans in cities and armies were wiped out by the conflict.

The Jews in the safety camps were not forced to join the military like other Europeans in the country's they were residing in.

They were given a free pass in the safety camps where they were housed for free and fed for free and had multiple sources of entertainment like pools theater and other things.
