@antipostmodernist you can sign up to be an over the road trucker and you'll get a job and a home

There is a big shortage of OTR drivers in the USA. Companies like swift and CR England need you!

They will send you to a training center where you will learn how to operate a big rig. You'll train with a driver after training until he is confident you can handle it. Then you'll be free to drive and you'll be given use of the truck sleeper to live in. There will be lot lizards to fuck at the T/A truck stops and lots of chicken fried steak.

This is a good way to escape homelessness!

Trucking is not what it used to be. Constant GPS tracking. Many companies pay little over minimum wage, and then a heap of bonus pay for good driving. GPS shows you drive too fast, loose some of that bonus. Don't follow the assigned route, loose bonus pay. Take a break too long, loose bonus. Deliver too late, or deliver too early, loose pay.
Carefully read and understand the contract you sign up for.

If you have other options go for it. This was for someone who has no home or career. Better than starving on the streets

Dunno about that. You could do to familiarize yourself with street life more probably.

It is indeed a good way to create immunity to homelessness. I'm not sure what else can be said for it though. Other than the police there are few occupations more responsible for propping up the status quo. This should create issues for anyone that is in this for more than to kill time. Plus that industry seems like a huge faggot magnet. For reasons that aren't hard to discern.

Not everyone has family money

Dang. You called that one. His inheritance that was supposed to be spent on his children’s education was spent on purchasing and storage of 13 years of pornographic magazines that he later abandoned in a rental unit.

A while ago he talked about having family money / trust fund. He lives in Arizona. My good memory is both a blessing and a curse

I've literally heard truck drivers get thanked with a compliment something on the order of - 'Thanks to you our economy functions'. Even a gas station attendant doesn't get told that!

Ask yourself: if you're looking to clog up the interstates what are you trying to block? It sure isn't the summer vacation with the kids.

You know what else it great about them? They can hold a whole people hostage during a diasaster while they ask for a raise.

You saw their power on display not too long ago in Canada. They are the primary economic engine traveling the primary form of transportation infrastructure. They enable the system to move.
