Faceberg, Google and all the rest are not "tailored to you". I hear that all the time, that the reason it is so hard to stop using social media is because it is an entertainment source that never ends, tailored directly to your wants and desires.
That is not the case. Social media analyzes your behavior and generates content that steers you towards changing your behavior to suit the goals of the social media companies.
Think of it this way. Search engines no longer search. They analyze your search request and then match it against the 10,000 sites on their reliable media list. They then provide you with a link that will feed you NPC talking points that suits their desires. They literally weaponize search and social media to turn you into an NPC.
Every.single.link you get from big tech is a political act against you.

One reason I don't mesh with those. They constantly try to tell me how they think I should be doing things and it's a constant annoyance. Thus I despise every second of using them and use them as little as possible.
