Change the soap you're using, get something natural. Something that you can count the ingredients it has on one hand. Obviously, shower regularly. Get a good natural lotion and fuckin use it after every shower.

Zinc pyrthione 2% works for a while and then stops working completely. Also coconut oil feeds the fungus that cause sebhoreric dermatitis. I'll try xylitiol but how do I apply it?
I was taking antidepressants for a while and I had itchy scalp with weird papules (? ) on my scalp and sometimes my face. When I stopped the antidepressants this problem completely went away. Look at your medications as potential causes. Including booze.
Have you tried supplements? I would try increasing zinc and selenium intake, B complex, vitamin D, maybe MSM, pro-biotic.
Make sure you are not “feeding” the malessezia with certain moisturizers
Its possible you have a demodex/rosacea issue, in which case ivermectin horse paste should be very effective topically or orally (ivermectin should not be used by pregnant women btw.)
I want you to be aware of all of your options. (In other words: yes!)
I had some inflamed and dried/cracking skin on my hand just randomly show up earlier this year, and a sunflower lecithin supplement I've been taking may have helped with ridding it.
Try a diet of only beef and water. Salt to taste. Be sure to thank me in several weeks when you notice your symptoms begin to vanish. Disregard all other comments as none of them will help you more than an elimination diet. Youtube it. People have cured entire lifetimes of ailments with this. Please do not take my comment lightly.

I am not a doctor, but it seems like fire should cure the issue. Or maybe rubbing a cheese grater against it vigorously.
I bet doing a flip would cure it completely, too.

Beef tallow balm is worth trying. The Van Man sells tallow balm.
