I keep telling you to go to a cars and coffee. You never know what will show up. I'm a bit ashamed that I've not made a single car show this year - and I should because I have cars that deserve to be shown and appreciated.

One thing I'm noticing is that a company with whom I do some insuring is making more video content. The Hagerty channel has it going on.

Anyhow...

How to describe the car?

It's a big 4 door sedan.
It's fairly modern, from 2002.
It looks stately. Picture a Rolls-Royce, but not a Rolls.
(I'm unlikely to buy a modern used Rolls, for reasons expressed elsewhere.)
The company was founded in 1919.
They were made even more famous by winning in Le Mans throughout the 1920s.
It's a stately blue car that's meant to be driven.
It actually has a large twin turbo V8.
A Rolls is meant to be ridden in. This car is meant to be driven by the owner.
The car has an automatic - 'cause a manual would be unheard of in this kind of car.
It has full leather and walnut interior. with accents in aluminum.
The car has a very expensive clock in it, as do all of them.
Today, they're really worth $30k to $40k, but they cost a whole lot more than that.
Mine might be worth a little more. It was 300k to buy it new.
It has "quirks and features" (meaning Doug has covered it).
Before you scoff, that engine has 420 HP and 600 pound feet of torque.
That torque is important. It is not a light car.
It has all the gauges, as it should.
Even with all that weight, it still hits 60 in 5.5 seconds.
Even though it's meant to be driven, you're gonna be happy in the back.
There are even picnic tables in the back.
It's pretty much all leather, aluminum, or wood.
The company has been owned by many companies. When this was built, BMW had control.
Seriously, they say it took 17 cows to make the interior.
There's REAL carpet in it.
It's like riding on a flying carpet - even with all that power.

That should be enough.

Also, Doug and I agree. They're some of the best wheels you'll ever see.
