I actually had a pet bunny years ago. Very sweet little thing. Would sleep at the foot of the bed sometimes.

My dog had a little chase after a fawn this morning. To the end of the retractable leash. Then he put his nose to the ground and tried to get high off the scent. Critters make dogs berserk.

I am reading Watership Down. The author is decent at explaining how dogs, cats, rabbits, and various other animals think, well, at least believably.

Side note: poor main rabbit just got shot and is bleeding out hiding in a drainage pipe. All the other rabbits left him. cry

I did read that one about 35 years ago. Good book. Rough life for rabbits though. I in fact had a pet rabbit for about 8 years. Sweet little thing. Sometimes she slept on the bed. Used a litter box.

I am absolutely stunned that a rabbit has that much endurance. I had no idea they could go full speed for that long a period of time.

Same. Watching this, I thought the bunny (hare, whatever) was doomed. I also couldn't believe the two dogs could go that long. Most humans are weak!

This was more exciting than any recent Hollywood movie scene.
