You know what so-called, quote, unquote, "warning shots", are considered under the law?

Use of deadly force.

If somebody fires "warning shots" at or near you, you are not required to guess at their intentions. They could just be bad shots.
And the use of deadly force in self defense is a legal and appropriate response.

Had to pull guard detail at the hospital once for a critter that got himself shot, but not DRT.
