Is there any way to stop a hospital murder once it's started?

submitted by Cunt to AskUpgoat 1.7 yearsAug 15, 2023 19:52:25 ago (+4/-0)     (AskUpgoat)

One of those unofficial assisted deaths, where the doctors and nurses all agree on treatment, most notably morphine which they slowly over dose the patient on until they die?

Most of the family seem to agree (I don't know if anyone - medical staff or family - are doing this consciously or not or if they legitimately think it's a helpful "treatment"). They have all gathered around like vultures, coming from all over the country to watch him die. The worst is the two family members that are nurses and think they know it all. "patients like this rapidly decline" - yeah, AS SOON THEY GET IN FUCKING HOSPITAL. Also you bitches work with babies not geriatrics so what do you even know?

My grandfather was fairly fine a week ago, the vaxes have done a number on him, notably making his brain cancer more aggressive. My grandmother was complaining that he gets confused at night time, usually trashing the house looking for something apparently lost/stolen. During the day he is fine but is sleeping more (presumably because he's u at night). He's bigger then her so she called an ambulance to subdue him, ambulance came, said "he's not not sick*", shrugged and took him and discharged the next day saying he's fine. Family call grandmother crazy liar. A few days later same thing. But then family gets him transferred to a second hospital. Hospital staff, like my grandmother, think it's annoying that he gets out of bed at night to walk around and look for shit. So they sedated him at night. Then as a side effect of those meds he allegedly gets confused and disorientated during the day, also annoying to hospital staff to they give him some sort of anti-anxitey or anti-psychotic meds and then say he's in pain but too confused to be able to articulate it so they hook him up to constant drip of morphine. Now he's sedated pretty much constantly except for brief moments occasionally and where they try to feed him but he's too drugged up to so now he is starting to die and very much looks like it.

Is there anything I can do? It's happened so fast, it feels like everyone has decided he's gonna die now but nobody asked him and they are literally killing him.

I dont know what the laws are like there. My mom was quasi senile and the wanted to put her on morphine but she didnt want it. They also teied to discourage her against getting a feeding tube but we convinced her to get one. They were pissed. They clearly wanted to kill her badly. I couldnt believe how invested they were in speeding up her death.

My fucking cunt cousin (no offense) who is a hospice nurse declared that it was “not right” that we should continue to feed my mom ( who we fucking asked if she wanted to die and wo said no!) and she made my dad cry and convinced my aunt ( also quasi-senile ) not to talk to my mom anymore because we wouldnt let them kill her. So I fucking know how some of these POS nurses are. Absolutely retarded ghouls

You could get grandpa to say he doesnt want morphine anymore. Try to get it on video. That might help. Dont know if its possible. You could talk to a lawyer.

Transfer is best bet.
Getting a second hospital to agree to take the patient is uphill.

You can sue, but you probably won't get anywhere if you aren't the primary caretaker.

All around it's a shit situation -- you say he has aggressive brain cancer, and he's acting up at night and trashing the house. If I was doing that, I'd hope I'd call it quits myself instead of being a burden. Might not be want you want to hear, but the current situation may be for the best.

Everbody says this shit till its them.

These are really dumb reasons to kill someone imo.

People do kill themselves. It's rare, and it's a helluva thing to do, but it does happen.

You say it's "dumb" until you're the one that has to deal with the consequences. Losing your mind, trashing the house. Is the brain cancer going to get better? It only gets worse.

I speak from personal experience. Someone who vowed they never wanted to be a burden ended up wanting to cling to life. And I had to deal with the “consequences”. And no I didnt want to kill this person even though they were horrible to deal with. I did what I would want someone to do for me. Im white.

Did this person trash the house while losing their mind? Put you in danger?

[ - ] Special_Prosecutor 2 points 1.7 yearsAug 15, 2023 22:19:03 ago (+2/-0)

Do you justify killing an invalid because he "puts you in danger"?

Seems rather extreme when an alternative is to avoid the person.

And, if OPs grandfather didn't put his grandmother in danger does "trashing the house" justify murder?

Where did OP say his grandmother is in danger?

He stripped pillows and sheets onto the floor, and maybe a couple of other things but "trashed" was a bit hyperbolic on my part, he didn't empty all the drawers or break things.

Did you miss the part where his grandmother is living with him, he's trashing the house, and she had to call for outside help? How is she going to avoid him?

Where did OP say his grandmother is in danger?

He kind of hinted at it when OP said he was bigger than her. Anyways, let's say she feels safe, but she doesn't want her house trashed. What is she supposed to do?

You're literally making stuff up. Just stop digging the hole, it's not a right/wrong contest between you and me.

Have him killed seems to be the answer.

Maybe call the below to see if they take brain cancer patients?

https://www.burzynskiclinic.com/treatment-options/

Depending on treatment type Ive read they telehealth and mail treatment.

Maybe ask them if they have a recommendation on finding an accepting physician who will recieve him?

The solution is simple. The effort is immense.

Take Action

Take your grandfather out of the hospital. Do not ask for permission. Set up a room, dress him in street clothes, wheelchair him to your car and drive him there.
If he's not in pain then fuck the meds. Worst case is he dies in your custody, with someone that loves him. Most likely he will eventually degrade to a point beyond your capability.

You will absolutely catch shit for this. But is it illegal? Is it worth it?

Do the best you can do, no regrets.

Even if I was strong enough to lift him into a wheelchair (he's very tall) I'm pregnant so would probably injure myself. I doubt my husband would help. Second problem is he is very tall and my car is very small. He tried to squeeze in once (when healthy) and basically didn't fit and it was not comfortable.

Apparently he has a GI tube but I'm suspicious of that or if they're feeding him adequately through that because of his weight loss and urine is not much and rusty colour so he could use an IV. Not sure if he'd need either if it wasn't for the hospital meds.

Aren’t you in Australia? I don’t know about there, but in the U.S., you can just yank your person up and out of there.
But yes, I watched them do this to a friend of mine who had liver and kidney failure and there was nothing they could do. Hep-C, cancer, the whole bit. They put him on IV Dilaudid and yes, it was the kindest thing they could have done.

Get his shit in TRUST
THEY WILL ROB HIS BODY before its cold.
Act stupid till you see them rape every penny

[ - ] Cunt [op] 2 points 1.7 yearsAug 15, 2023 20:25:10 ago (+2/-0)

There robbery started long before he went in hospital. But I would wager he's left everything to my grandmother, and she knows they all hate her so will probably leave everything to charity when she goes.

I wouldn't know how to organise a trust but I'd bet I'm not authorized to do so.
