Enjoying the little things. Hummingbirds found my feeder - Upgoat

I love my hummingbros. I have 4 feeders around my house, and we get a show all day long of a group of 5 to 7 of them. Very cathartic to watch. If you get the same group to keep coming, they eventually will peek at you through the windows to let you know the feeder is empty.

They'll come investigate me when I'm wearing a bright pink or salmon-colored shirt on (the athletic kind that come in bright colors). They're so loud when they get close, the noise almost makes me jump.

We have two feeders. we make our own drink for them. That shit you buy at the store is not good for them at all. I bought a feeder ring and we can sit on the front deck and they will land on my hand and drink.

Only part I miss from the California house was our resident hummingbird that split time in our honeysuckle and the big flowering street tree in the front yard.

They'll also eat bugs.
