Alright mansplainers at the ready

I love you all. I recently had a post where I called myself a conservative. I didn’t realize this was controversial. I was drawing the contrast between lower case c conservatives and lower case l liberals. Many made comments that folks here weren’t conservatives. Then what are you? I don’t know political stuff. I’m not a kike so calm down asterisk jockeys. Raised hippy Christian/vaguely catholic. Prefer a sort of hybrid Jesusy/Roman pagan nature-centered lifestyle. Where the fuck do I fit.

Why are you trying to fit in here? If you spout good ideas, people here will like you. If not, then people will explain why you're a fucking dumbass. No big deal.

People, women especially, can't stand to not "tick a box", they have to fit into a grouping. If there's no group to belong to they go mad with insecurity, they don't know how to act or what to think.

Individualism is for men, White men specifically.

Conservatives conserve nothing. The UK is presently under a "conservative" govt yet they have an Indian prime minister, the highest levels of immigration ever, and support LGBTQI+.

I'd say most of us here would be referred to as far right. And no matter the country, we detest our govts and politicians.
