Exactly. This kind of stuff is funny in European countries too cos the amounts advised are strongly based on what they think the public will put up with. So in Ireland we’re ‘advised’ to eat five portions of fruit and veg a day as the optimal amount, but that rises to nine portions a day in Sweden because Swedes are more compliant. We’re told not to drink no more than 17 units of alcohol a week, the Brits and Swedes 14 units, the Germans 10 units. Because science, you see.
