Why is the Bible so long? I mean how to be a good human can fit on one page and Jesus doesn't hardcore name the jew faggots or feminism

Here goes a short version I'm sure smarter people can improve upon it but if you just did number one your society would be fine

Jews are fucking evil eliminate them period. Women should not have power in society. Faggots are evil. Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.

When Jesus sent the apostles out, it was to recount the Holy Gospel. That means telling the story found in Matthew, Mark, Luke or John.

To be a Christian means reading or hearing the story and accepting or rejecting it. To be a Catholic means doing it how the Catholics do it.

All of the rules and arguments exist because human beings are dicks.

The rest of the Bible is for study purposes and fills out the core message, but isn't necessary. Books were hard to come by, so a big ass old Bible kept readers busy.

Oliver Cromwell went off the rails when he married a dumb girl who belonged to a group calling themselves "Old Testamentarians".

Until the mid 1800's Americans weren't church goers. They were rural and had Bibles in their homes. The big tent revivals were a power trip by preachers who stand in between Protestants and their God, like Marxist international banker's non profits stand between people and their government running libraries, food banks, influencing teachers and more for the big money that hires politicians to represent them..

Because the bible is just a collection of writings from the time. The OT was basically ripped from folklore, and the NT wasn't written until ~80 years after the late JC passed away or floated off, or whatever.

The ten commandments are painfully inadequate as a guide for proper human behavior, and there are complete absurdities throughout that are 'overlooked' by apologists. (Incest, slavery, rape, misogyny, ad nauseam).

Strangely enough, the neopagans (wiccan rede) came up with "An it harm none do what ye will", which if taken seriously provides a pretty decent moral code, as opposed to the confusing labyrinthic logic of the bible.

I've always had a problem with the Christians claiming Jesus defeated death. Really he died came back for 40 days then died again?

Sounds like a head trauma incident.

I like what Jesus says Christianity is fundamental to white Europeans even though I think they were moral compared to most places in the world because of high trust societies

In the Old Testament God chooses to deal with humanity primarily though the descendants of Abraham through his grandson Jacob. Those people were not "Jews" the term "Jew" came much later after the kingdoms of Judah broke off from the rest of Israel.

That remaining kingdom of Israel consisted of the bulk of ten of the twelve tribes of Israel each named after one of Jacob's twelve sons (there's a bit of complication here because Jacob adopted his two grandsons by his son Joseph, Mannassah and Ephraim. so sometimes you'll hear those two referred to individually and sometimes combined under the name Joseph.)

Anyway, after Solomon died Israel fell into hardcore Idolatry and wickedness and virtually all of the Israelites were down with that, except the tribes of Benjamin, which was the smallest tribe having been almost genocided by the others previously, and the tribe of JUDAH, the tribe from which King David, Solomon, Mary and Jospeh, and Jesus were descended.

They. along with a a big portion of the tribe of Levi (the priestly tribe) retained control of Jerusalemand formed a seperate southern kingdom called "The Kingdom of Judah" Judah is where we get the word "Jew".

The Northern kingdom of Israel was basically wiped out by the Assyrians and what Israelites remained there interbred with their conquerors and others and came to be called Samaritans.

This is all very late in the game as far as Old Testament Narrative goes. The vast majority of Old Testament narrative occurs before this point. Essentially everything prior to Nebuchadnezzar coming on the scene is about the Israelites, who were sometimes obedient to God and sometimes wicked but were never given a pass from God on being wicked. He literally destroyed them for their wickedness.

By the time of the New Testament half a millennium had passed since the last book of the Old Testament, Malachi, had been written and it ends with a pretty bad view of the Jews.

The New Testaments opens with the one Jesus called the greatest of all prophets, John the Baptist calling the Jews "a brood of vipers" and that they were not, in God's eyes seen as children of righteous Abraham and warning them that God was laying the axe to the root of their tree. (Matthew 3). Jesus tells them they were hypocites and "whitewashed sepulchers filled with dead men's bones" and children of their father the devil! (John 8:44 "Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do.")

The rest of the New Testament is filled with condemnation for the Jews, there is virtually nothing good said about them. The closest if Jesus and Paul both lamenting that they love wickedness so much they refuse to turn to God.

All through the narrative books of the New Testament (Matthew though Acts) the Jews are shown doing nothing but wickedness then all through doctrinal books they are called enemies of God's people and of the Gospel and it is made clear that being an ethnic descendant of Abraham does not make you one of God's chosen people but being a spiritual descendant, but trusting God as Abraham did does.

Finally in the book of Revelation it flat out says (twice) that those that claim to be "Jews" (using the name "Jew" to mean a people special to God) aren't "Jews" at all in God's eyes but rather the Synagogue of Satan.

I could go on and on because God's Word if inexhaustible but confusion like OP's is mostly based on people not really knowing the scripture.

Now on to the historical issue. Even if the Bible weren't ultra clear that being a "jew" counts for jack squat in God's eyes. It does appear that modern so-called "Jews" aren't even blood descendants of Israel. Haaretz, the big Israeli newspaper has published articles talking about how their ancestry came from Khazaria (the ancient russo-turkic people who occupied much of what is now Ukraine and which converted to the religion of Judaism in the 700s). They brought it up because they are trying to claim ancestral rights to Ukrainian land.

He referred the jewish synagogue as the 'synagogue of satan' in revelation 3:9

The jews didn’t exist during Jesus’ time. The Canaanites (who were of the Phoenicians, and are interestingly the ancestors of those who now control the Federal Reserve and other global monetary systems) were the parasites taking over Judea from the south - and brought their Talmudic oral laws from Babylon and usurped the religious and financial systems of that land.

Jesus knew very well of these devils, and said they were of the Synagogue of Satan - these Pharisees and Sadducees would later set their differences aside and formally combine into Judaism; two of Jesus’ disciples were of these peoples.

Remember that there were many peoples who believed in the prophecies of His coming, and we know that several people brought gifts to present to Jesus and His family before and after His birth - the traditional “3 kings” idea is a folklore fantasy.

So Jesus directly warned these Canaanite degenerates through His disciples that He came not to bring peace to them, but the sword; to turn their brothers against each other and against their mothers and fathers. This warning was not directed towards the world (an interpretation favored by many idiots) but against the people who would later be known as the jews.

Through the Good Samaritan parable, Jesus pointed out how their elitist (and characteristically racist jew supremacist) viewpoints barred them from consideration as neighbors - and even said at a later time that it would be better to have them executed in the most harrowing way because of their abuses towards innocent children.

So, impossible as it was to name the “jew” as Judaism didn’t even exist, Jesus nonetheless called them out anyway, and not only cursed them, but enticed them to curse themselves for all of eternity - as He was dying on the cross.

The cross is an incredible symbol and reminder that these parasites and their children are to be shamed and shunned forever. The word kikel means circle in Yiddish - and the kike has earned this disparaging nickname through a seemingly biological aversion to the cross, as it is well known that their pathological disorders are amplified when being subjected to anything reminding them of our Lord, savior, and redeemer, Jesus Christ.

The modern “Christian” priests and bishops have been subverted and follow unholy doctrines and MUST DAILY repeat lies and false interpretations to their congregations in order to keep their revenue flowing. They have wiped out and memory holed GOOD CHRISTIAN SAINTS in order to be “politically correct” and never mention how jewish ritual murder and jewish child sacrifice brought the deaths and demise of not only these saints, but many others. These modern revisionist cowards have APOLOGIZED on behalf of good Christians like Martin Luther and his attempts to warn others about the jews and their lies. They have mistranslated the Bible in order to minimize the evil aura that comes from the synagogue of Satan jew and the warnings against them and their ways. These pathetic excuses for Christians have failed to deny Satan’s offerings, and temptation has overwhelmed their consciences.

Many Christians today live in a state of fear and denial and wonder why the world is the way that it is. They have only one possibility for redemption - and that is to stop denying and to accept Jesus’ example of calling out the jew - even if it means death. But for most of these weaklings, the loss of a job or bank account is even worse.

the OT was written towards jews, and as you can notice, it is extremely verbose, repetitive and a lot of times will explain things that clearly do not need additional details (dont have sex with brother, dont have sex with brother in law, dont have sex with this person, dont steal from neighbor, dont steal from friend, etc).

The OT was catering to a group of jews who acted like niggers, but worst, who would constantly take something at face value and twist it into something that was never said. This is also why a law that is supposed to be very simply (dont steal) becomes some over the top, insane, 200+ page law, because of jews

Actually it's quite terse. Most of it reads like a one paragraph version of "The Three Little Pigs". If you want to know how a particular actor feels you have to infer it. Some books such as Job, Psalms, and Ecclesiastes resemble literature in their flowery language but they are the minority. The bulk of the OT from Creation through the establishment of Israel is a dense list of events. The prophets are equally dense and at times seem abstract. This is due, IMHO, to the fundamental problem of prophecy where one must state the future in a way that won't change it. It can only be recognized in hindsight, and that lends to brevity

Don't have sex with those people, but also it's okay to be married to your two cousins who are sisters at the same time.

If the OT is so ridiculously jewy, really makes you wonder why they imposed it on Europe as part of the conversion to christianity.

[ - ] BeholdIAmHere 1 point 1.7 yearsAug 28, 2023 11:43:08 ago (+1/-0)

Part of the problem I see, and this is coming from a Christian, is that the OT is so insanely loose to interpretation, anyone can really say anything and use the Bible as evidence towards that point. Leviticus for example has proof that race mixing is bad and no immigration is accepted, but two pages later it says you should take in foreigners because everyone is an immigrant.

The NT at least tries to maintain some modicum of consistency. But at the end of the day, unless we see the original manuscripts the texts of the Bible came from, how they were translated, who translated them, how much money was involved, etc, it could be all forged and altered, and we wouldn't know any better.

Even if it's real, if it comes from the people modern jews are descended from, how can you trust it? When you look at the sheer metric fuckton of shit you've been lied to about - covid, 9/11, the holocaust, slavery, etc. doesn't it seem more likely that the biggest religion on earth would also be a lie? Especially when it's so inherently tied up in the history of the people who told us all those other lies.

Don't get me wrong, I firmly believe that there is spiritual truth out there, but I don't believe that you'll find it in a book that the jews let billions of people possess.

The part of the Bible with Jesus is pretty short tbh. It's the "Old Testament" that's long. And I assume that has to do with jews, or at least Hebrews, since they copied it.
