Unfortunately it can. There is something called "Court of Justice of the European Union" and the so called judges basically can rule if any law of a particular country that is member to the EU, complies with EU regulations. If they say it doesn't they are allowed to put huge fines on this country.

I know a lot of Europeans before the EU was formed. When they were voting for the EU they were voting to be able to cross the country's borders without having to show a passport and to have basically free trade between the European countries.


They also wanted to have a single currency so when they were selling goods to and from the country next door they didn't have to constantly gamble on the exchange rate.


Not a single one of them ever thought that the European Union would be used as a means to import people from Africa and all these other places into Europe. Not a single one of them voted for that not a single one of them wanted that. They all wanted to keep Europe european.

Cattle with four legs don't suspect they're going to be killed and eaten. For best results, you want to farm a species that's not very bright and is easily controllable.
