Going to try meat loaf on the smoker

It just makes too much damn sense that this will turn out excellent

My oven meat loaves are to die for and I'm excited to see what doing it on the smoker yields!

Think I'm going to cook it at 275 till temp. Then increase to 350 once glazed. I usually do 350/400 in the oven

But do you add a mushroom cream of soup/ ketchup mix glaze to the top of your meatloaf? No? Then mine are better.

Hm. Im out of mushroom cream soup so I might try yours this weekend. You don't think the smoker is going to tear apart your meatloaf? Like you don't think it will just crumble when you cut into it?

No I don't think so. If I use enough binders it should be okay. I've done air fryer meat loaves and they actually turned out really nice. Not even remotely the same but still I have confidence just like elvis presley

Use a cooling rack but under the rack put 1" of water, it will keep it from drying out on the edges. Also make sure it is really clean, you can use that water and drippings to make gravy.

My local BBQ does a sausage, wrapped in beef, wrapped bacon and smoked. Hard to beat and it is so good it is gone by 11 am.

Don't go in the smoker! Just take the meatloaf out and eat it at your table.
