Its just a generational thing I guess. Growing up we got kicked out of the house and was told to get lost. Granted this was in the country and we were poor as fuck.

In the country you had a hundred eyes on you and your parents already knew everything you did /who you spoke to before you even made it back home.

At least my grandparents did. Always.
