The marbling on iberico pork is pretty damn amazing

Kinda tempted to get this. Way better than anything I've ever seen before

If it's legit Iberico pork, the flavor is probably going to be out of this world.

I've only ever had Iberico ham and, let me tell you, that shit was amazing!

I've had iberico at a Spanish restaurant before and it was very very good.

Haven't tried the ham. I think I'll get one for Christmas this year.

I'm willing to roll the dice. If it ends up not being legit that's as simple as a charge back. No other pork has that marbling.

Ribs are overrated and I do them pretty well. I only need them like twice a year. I’m more interested in shoulder and butt roasts and making carnitas, smoked or in the oven.
Edit-what would a roast of this kind of pork be like? Is it a certain type of pig?

Iberico pigs are a Spanish breed. It's believed both the breed of pig and their diet makes the meat special. They feed on acorns which people believe gives a special flavor. I've had other cuts from iberico at Spanish restaurants and it was very very good

I have seen iberico pigs raised in Texas and they are eating mesquite pods to give them a flavor. Not sure how this compares with the Spanish variety
